Sunday School

Sunday School Classes: 9:45 - 10:35 a.m.

Coffee is available for adults and lemonade is served for the young people at the end of classes.

Children & Youth

Nursery

The nursery provides a safe, attractive area for our infants to four-year olds to play, sleep, and socialize. We have hired someone to staff our nursery during Sunday School, as well as during the 8:30 and 11:00 services and other events. This person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the toys and stocking supplies. At least one member of the church is on hand at all times as a volunteer.

Eleanor Saunders Class

This class is for 3-5 year olds and was named after a long time teacher of the class. From crafts to bible studies to acting out the stories, this class creates lasting memories for children to draw from later in life.

1st-3rd Grades

Directly across from the Eleanor Saunders Classroom is where our early elementary schoolers meet. This class uses the "Exploring the Faith" curriculum to take a "hands on" approach to learning what it means to be a Christian

.
4th-5th Grades

Moving up to our third floor, the 4-5th graders enjoy learning about the Christian faith using the "Bible Quest" curriculum. Through the creativity of their teachers, they see first-hand the stories of the Bible coming to life.

6th-8th Grades

This class for sixth through eighth graders uses the "We Believe" curriculum, a PC(USA) publication. This curriculum is divided into 3 categories, "Survey of the Old Testament", "Survey of the New Testament", and "I Know My Bible", all of which are designed to help participants know where the major Bible stories are and how the Bible flows from book to book.

9th-12th Grades

Meeting in one of our most coveted classrooms, the senior highs study a range of topics using videos, music, stories and more to relate to Bible passages and learn better how they might live out the Christian faith as teenagers.

Adults

Topical class’s first topic:  If you want to walk on water, you’ve got to get out of the boat!  Peter may have been the first one out of the boat, but Jesus’ invitation is for you as well.  That’s where you’ll meet him:  out where the sea is high and the footing impossible.  As a follower of Jesus, you want to go where he calls you.  But walk on water?  What does that mean?  To find out, come to Sunday School!!!

Traditional Bible Study

Get back to the basics of Bible Study with this traditional class that is using the text; "Life Principles From the Old Testament" . Requiring lesson completion and exercises in the text.
